Fencing Procedures/Types allowed
All fencing between Units MUST be approved by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). Owners must submit all plans for consideration to the Architectural Committee via this form; Please allow up to 30 days for consideration after submission (however, the ACC will make every effort to approve as soon as possible.)
Only two types of fencing are approved through the Architectural Control Committee.
1. Ameristar Montage Ornamental Steel in the Classic style with three rails - which is a metal “wrought-iron” look; it must be 4 feet in height; gates should be 43 inches wide to accommodate lawn equipment.
2. Black Coated Chain Link - 4 feet in height; gates 43 inches wide to accommodate lawn equipment.
Fencing of Units whose rear portions of the Units face the Common Areas by the pool, fireplace gathering area, and basketball court is prohibited.
All Perimeter fencing is maintained by The Reserve; the only Units without existing rear Lot line fencing are those in the Common Areas by the Pool/Fireplace Gathering Area/Sports Court and those Units/Lots on our north side that are along our Adjacent Storage Lot, which have a white ornamental rail fence; all other Units/Lots have either wood privacy fences along their back Lot lines or Ameristar Ornamental Steel (wrought-iron looking metal); Black Chain Link Fencing may be added just inside the white ornamental rail fencing for our Units/Lots on our north side that back up to our Adjacent Storage Lots if full enclosures are needed for the safety of children and pets.
Per Restrictive Covenants, fence placements must be on Lot lines and may not
exceed the front of the Unit.
